Viking Knitting Workshops at Minerama

In our beginner’s classes, participants can immerse themselves in the fundamentals of Viking knitting, guided by a skilled instructor who provides a hands-on tutorial.
 
For those seeking to elevate their craftsmanship to the next level, our advanced workshop offers an array of intricate techniques and projects.
Beginners Classes – Make Your Own Bracelet – $70
Includes tutorial, written instructions, drawing board, dowel, 4 metres of wire, and a clasp for the bracelet.

Advanced Class – Make Your Own Earrings, Bracelet & End Cover – $75

Create your own doubled-knitted earrings with a glass bead at the bottom, knit 2 colours into a bracelet, and use 20-gauge wire to make an end cover for any Viking-knitted piece.

How to Book

You will be required to pay for and collect your tickets from the Glen Innes Visitor Information Centre on the day.
